idonttan Posted January 12, 2015 Report Share Posted January 12, 2015 Hi everyone, I'm only 16 consecutive days clean from adderall, after many failed attempts before, but I was wondering for those that experienced the side effect of hair loss/hair getting much weaker than before while on adderall, how long it did take until your hair regained it's strength and started to grow back? I took adderall for a year, and must of lost half the hair on my scalp. Since quitting I have noticed that my scalp is so much more relaxed now and I don't get dandruff as badly as I did when I took adderall. My hair does seem to have gained more volume but the visible bald spots that I've developed from using haven't been regrowing yet. I hope I'm just being impatient and this isn't the result of permant damage. But please let me know about your experience if you can relate. Thank you! MtAnalogue Posted January 13, 2015 Report Share Posted January 13, 2015 No personal experience here, but I've heard that jamaican black castor oil is great for hair loss; it is supposedly more effective than prescription growth promoters and is under $10 for a bottle.
