  1. Brighton to the both of you! Be good to yourselves, and take advantage of this great site!
  2. Do you have to work? Have you considered a less potent alternative, like ritalin?
  3. Ashley, you seem to be very proactive in taking care of your emotional well-being! That's beautiful, good for you! Lexapro is great, I was on that for 2 years. How long have you been taking it? Give it about 1-2 weeks and take it every day. You'll notice a difference. When I quit adderall I was a complete mess. I became overly hostile and very depressed. I understand how you feel, and I'm on your side
  4. I totally agree with Ashley. Adderall is #1 if you're addicted. Adderall is the addict's lover, best friend, worst enemy and a partner in life. Adderall is his ultimate priority. Not you, or anyone else. I know how this love affair works.
  5. An addict always puts his/her needs first, no matter what the cost. Accept that, and move on. Let the process run its course.
  6. He's going to be miserable. He will become disengaged, Moody, depressed and sick of it. Its a process. He will hate life, but its your choice to stay around or walk away. Regardless, he's going to do whatever he wants, or "needs" to do with or without you. Trust me. You cannot change him.
  7. Zoloft will definitely help take that edge off. I'm a Major Depressive and take 150 mg daily. I also see a psychotherapist every week for 1 hour sessions. Try it.
