  1. Hey all. I have been trying to quit for about 5 months now.... and right now I am 24 days clean. This week I have been struggling EXTRA hard with fatigue and exhaustion no matter how much I sleep. I exercise regularly, eat extremely healthy. Those boxes are checked. I am planning to get blood work done soon to see if I have a nutritional deficiency that is causing the fatigue. In the meantime, I am in graduate school and barely able to get through my work. I am interested in taking supplements and I wonder if anyone has suggestions. A strange thing as of late is that caffeine actually makes me 10X more tired. I wondering if anyone has had the same problem? This could be due to my brain chemistry still trying to repair itself after years of Adderall use and abuse. I abused badly for only a few months, therefore I hope my recovery is somewhat quick. As for supplements and nootropics, these are the ones I am interested in: L-tyrosine, phenibut, phenylpiraetam, Centrophenoxine, and adrafinil, to name a few. Any and all suggestions are appreciated!
  2. It's been almost two years since I quit adderall and I'm just feeling like a chub lately- During my 9-10 year abuse- I was always on the thinner side- I think I actually started being thinner before taking adderall from simply chasing around 2 kids under the age of 2, but then Adderall helped to keep me feeling skinny at all times.. I'm about 5'5 and at my lowest weighed 115lbs- (which is actally a little to thin for my bone structure).. Right now I am at 132 and I keep jumping on and off the workout/eating healthy band wagon.. I can't seem to get any lower.. I think quitting adderall and my occasional smoking all at one made me gain about 10lbs (I was about 122lbs- 2 years ago).. If I knew before quitting I was going to gain weight so quickly I would have been much more careful).. I know it's not a lot in the grand scheme of things and I do feel a heck of a LOT better not being completely out of my mind.. I just don't feel good about my body and need a quick solution.. These last few pounds are making me consider (after 2 years of sobriety) Just taking Adderall for even a few weeks to get my weight back down.) nothing I have tried seems to be helping.. any suggestions?? thanks in advance!!
  3. Blaaaahh. Maybe I'm just weak, but going off of this shit is hell. I'm on day 2 and I actually felt worse today than I did yesterday. CBD oil is somewhat helpful but any other suggestions to ease this? I know I just have to tough it out and there's no pill to just make me feel "normal" - (ha) but, this SUCKS. I'm not looking for anything synthetic, like "add tabz" and that nonsense..been there, done that. I've seen that it works for a few people but it's just not what I'm looking for. I just feel overwhelmed because I don't know where to start as far as withdrawing and getting the right supplements/vitamins, etc.. Looking for a little advice here, I'm done rambling but I appreciate any suggestions
  4. I am 5 days clean from Adderall. I have quit once before, for 89 days, with the help of AA meetings. I had been using for 6 years. I'm feeling lethargic and experiencing mental fog, among other withdrawl symptoms. I want to start taking supplements. I was thinking B-complex vitamins, Fish Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, 5-HTP, and Ginkgo Biloba. Has anyone used any of these or this combination and had good results or improvement? Does anyone have a better suggestion? I am not interested in energy drinks, but am open to suggestion, other than that :] Please share (Also, i'm new here and not sure if i posted this question in the right spot on the forums. If not, please direct me to the right place? Thanks, fellow quitters)
  5. Hey guys, So my bf's mom is really into health/natural healing and supplements over medications, etc. and she knows I'm into it too and recently told me about this stuff called "Cellfood" -- I just picked me up some from the health food store and I'm trying it out. I think I may of added a little too much to my water or I drank too much at once because I'm a little light headed right now as I type. But I always love trying new things and sharing it with you all because others can find it helpful (maybe)… This stuff is supported to help get the nutrients IN and the toxins OUT. This Cellfood "is the only formulae that can nourish, clean and detoxify the cells! It's made from the very finest all-natural plant sources, and is rapidly absorbed and utilized at deepest cellular levels." Apparently "Cellfood" supports: enhanced energy levels, immune system function, cellular oxygenation, breathing function, alertness and concentration, normalized pH, digestion, nutrient absorption, removal of lactic and uric acid, recovery from injury, bacteria and parasite elimination, mental focus, regularity and elimination, immune system function and neurological. So I'm trying it out, just started today and I will report back later, maybe tomorrow or in a few days or week or so and see if I notice any difference. Also, I am slowly weening myself off of Zoloft right now so I have a lot going on. I hope this will help with the weening process.
  6. B12

Hey gang, I was wondering if any of you take B12 (I know its a very common supplement to take) - probably most of you have it. I take it and have taken it for years and always feel nothing from it. I have done a little research on the topic and apparently B12 vitamins aren't as affective as everyone would wish and I kinda feel like it's pointless to even take this. I was thinking about going to get the shot of it but how long does it last? And how much does it cost? And going to the doctor how offend? So I found a B12 spray from Amazon called "B12 Boost" by SprayVit and like mint spray, you spray it on your tongue. I just got it today and I'm gonna try to out tomorrow and let y'all know what I think and if I feel a difference or a "boost." It is "supposed" to be even more effective than the shot - so they say. We'll see. A little over 2 months clean: I've been feeling really good lately, just a little spacey and sleepy still. I wrote my first poem last night (first poem without adderall). I have gone down to 10 hours of sleep instead of 12, sometimes. It's so odd because I have NEVER slept this much in my life and hate just not getting shit done like bam bam bam but I feel SO much better and happier without it. I'm getting a little bit of my hyperness back and ADHD pretty bad but I would rather have it be this way. And I'm excited about the future. No going back!
