ldmcniel
I heard a song the other day called "Remedy" by Little Boots. The chorus really hit home for me. It is " no more poison killing my emotion I will not be frozen dancing is my remedy" I could relate that to my Adderall addiction. Adderall is poison, it does kill my emotion, and I do dance ( or other forms of exercise) to boost my mood. It has been proven that exercise boosts the brains natural dopamine production. Isn't that why we became addicted in the first place? We wanted the dopamine increase. We then "loved" it, for a bit anyway. Then we grew to become dependent on it. We thought we couldn't even function without it. We grew to hate it, but still thought we needed it. We hit rock bottom and came here, to find answers and help. We realize that we are not alone. I personally would love it if I could even stop one person from going through this personal hell. That is my mission in the long run. For the moment, I just want to make it through the day.
BeHereNow
"We should consider every day wasted on which we have not danced at least once. And we should consider every truth false that was not accompanied by at least one laugh." -Nietzsche
