Mikey D
I heard somewhere that the military will not take you unless you have been off ampheamines for at least a year, And even then it"s dificult to get accepted because of the amphs. Does anyone known the reason for the long period of time? I heard it takes a year for the brain to rebuild Neurotransmitters.Any theories? I know airforce pilots take small doses of something similar to adderall, but under supervision and its a different kind of pill.
Kyle_Chaos
It was military doctors who put me on on Adderall in the first place. Before the military I hadn't really taken it that often, and by the way..no one tells recruiters the truth about what they've done, if they did..the military would be a lot smaller. waronwar
True.. my fiance is in the militairy and he almost convinced me to join the reserves, but I knew w/ my health issues it wouldn't be a good fit. He told me you just don't tell them about anything and so it goes... as long as you can pass the drug tests. They do give the pilots amphetamines and have for decades. Jon
Provigil is the drug of choice by the Air Force these days, although all of the military branches have access.
