  1. I know a lot of you have experienced nasty acid reflux from quitting. Not fun. I won't go too into my details but my acidic stomach gave me ulcers and after going through several "fun" tests we discovered that the adderall was the cause of my destroyed digestive system. Another reason to quit before long term use takes its toll.

In light of my struggles I have found some great supplements that are natural that will help you heal up quick if you also stuggle! 1.) DGL. This stuff is amazing! 2.) Acid Ease by Enzymatic. 3.) Raw and fermented cabbage juice. I make my own it's super simple. And 4.) Lilly of the Desert Aloe Stomach Formula.

I went from PPI,s like Prilosec and diet modifications and the works but this didn't work to heal my gut. After trial and error over and over I found the remedies above and within a week I was feeling better and pain was almost completely gone. Adderall can seriously mess up your health. I have a whole list of health issues that were caused by taking that pill and I'm so glad I quit when I did. 6 months clean!

  2. Still waiting for this to get easier and to feel better. I have all kinds of health issues that I must have ignored being amped all the time. Anyone else experience health problems from adderall?

My ALT liver enzymes were slightly elevated last check up a month ago. I don't drink or smoke. This scares me. Hopefully they have come down.

  3. It sucks. It started while I was taking the pills but not till 7 or 8 yrs in. Part of my motivation to quit actually. It has increased since I stopped which is terrible. I've lost weight and I have made diet changes but some days are worse than others. I'm tempted to get on an acid blocker. It doesn't help that I am going through anxiety stages.

  4. This forum is going to be one of your best resources. We have all been there and we have all had to learn that we are in control. There is life and peace beyond adderall. It's not an easy road but you have so much to live for. Hold on to those you love and let go of adderall. I'm just over 3 months clean and I remember those thoughts of never being able to quit. You are on the right track admitting it's a problem and being concerned for your well being.

  5. Thank you both for your responses. I got some much needed sleep last night and I am feeling much better today. I go through these awful anxiety spells. I have been dieting and exercising regularly and I have lost a good amount of weight.. 25lbs. Still could afford to lose a little more.

As far as my liver enzymes my ALT were slightly elevated but all other functions were normal.. I have an appointment follow up in 2 weeks to see if that number has come down. My doc says stress and anxiety and slightly high cholesterol play a role. My BP also ramped up

When I quit. That was scary but it has come down now thanks to some diligence. I have some other health issues that started while I was taking adderall that led me to quit.. (Possibly gallbladder) I'm going to get that Looked into.

Today I feel good.. Anxiety low, pain/heartburn hasn't showed itself today.. I'll take it as a win.

  6. I have been adderall free for 3 months and I am struggling bad with anxiety. Always worried I have health issues. I have done a physical and blood work all came back fine but I worry irrationally that something is wrong with me. Physical pain, dizziness, feelings of doom. To be fair my health was messed up by this drug. Heart burn, high blood pressure, elevated liver enzymes and digestive issues have been putting me through hell. The insomnia is new.. Am I the only one who has lost weight without trying after quitting this drug? I feel like I'm going crazy.
