Kyle_Chaos
Today I ran for an hour and a half, and yes.. I'm bragging. Anyways, I read online that you have to run over thirty to 45 minutes to get dopamine release in the brain. I certainly feel better after longer runs, anyone else experience WAY more euphoria/relaxation after a really long run?
ashley6
Brag away. That's awesome! That is a looong run. I do notice I feel better if it's a longer period of time. Never heard the 30-45 minute thing.

Krax
before I go to the trouble of running for that long, how long does the good feeling last?
Greg
Definitely when I run more intensely I get runners high. If I don't run as intensely I might not get the super rush but I still feel good for the rest of the day. I think it kind of lingers all day. lea
Yes - I definitely notice that to be true. The longer the run or more vigorous the workout in general. The effects last throughout the day -- just an overall sense of feeling good. That's great Kyle_Chaos !!! GO FOR IT !
