formydaughter
I was taking 120mg of adderall a day. I quit on mother's day. I find myself still craving it still all the time. I went on provigil and Wellbutrin but they have no effect on my energy level. I'm having adverse effects from the provigil. Does anyone know anything about provigil? hyper_critical
It's a stimulant used to treat narcolepsy, has been used by the military, and is not a good way to avoid the fatigue that comes from early Adderall recovery. Friend of mine that is now clean messed around with it early on...she seriously regrets it.
Greg
I know people who take it to study and stay up for days. They also lend it to each other to study. Like adderall, it enhances the dopamine in your brain. Just in a different way. I wouldn't touch it.
TheMist
Is a medication that promotes wakefulness. So it treats excessive sleepiness caused by sleep apnea.
LILTEX41
Be patient. You are only a few months out. The cravings are so strong in the early days. Exercise if you can. Do anything to boost your natural energy and do NOT worry that you still feel like this. You just have to keep riding the wave of compulsion and it will pass. Some days will be harder than others, but know that it will get easier and easier over time. Stay STRONG. You CAN OVERCOME. Hugs!
Zerokewl
Time heals all things. I really hated it when people told me that in early recovery. But it's true. Just need to ride out the first bit. It gets better so much better and the bad days become less intense an less frequent until you don't really have them anymore.
