  1. I loved to clean and organize my house and my closets. I would vacuum and dust twice a day. I loved cleaning my bathroom over and over again. Lol!! I also liked to go shopping and see what I could get away with stealing. It became another addiction to me. I also liked going on line and reading all different inspirational quotes. I'm still obsessed with instagram!!!lol
  2. I have been adderall free for 4 months and I still think about the shit all day and night long!!! I notified my psychiatrist who was prescribing it to me and cut off all connections with my suppliers so I don't think I'm in danger. I just want the ducking cravings for it to go away!!! Does anyone else have this problem????
  3. I couldn't sleep often because I never wanted that euphoric feeling to end. I was taking 120mg of adderall a day. I kept needing/wanting more and more of the shit!!! Towards the end of my adderall addiction I started Smoking weed every night which led to yet another addiction. I won't lie. I still think of adderall every day. Will this ever stop???
  4. For me It was when my husband who is my best friend and love of my life said to me"adderall or me"?
  5. I did a sleep study in the summer time. They suggested provigil so I tried it. It is not considered to be a stimulant. I tried it after being 4 months adderall free. It had the adverse effects on me. It made me more tired than I already was and extremely nauseous!!! I do not recommend that drug!!!!!!!! It's never to late to get back on track and get off the stimulants. You may want to look into getting your thyroid checked!!! A thyroid disorder will make you extremely tired all the time. Good luck😃😃
  6. I was taking 120mg of adderall a day. I quit on mother's day. I find myself still craving it still all the time. I went on provigil and Wellbutrin but they have no effect on my energy level. I'm having adverse effects from the provigil. Does anyone know anything about provigil?
  7. Hi Everyone, I'm sorry I haven't been around in awhile. I will be adderall free for 2 months on July 11(the day after my husband's birthday). My husband had a huge influence on me about quitting adderall. I still look for that ephoric feeling and that rush of energy. I also miss the "I can do anything on adderall feeling." My husband's peace of mind and my daughhter's well being are more important than me getting high!!!! I just miss the motivation i had on it. Today i'm feeling sorry for myself. I'm having a pity party for myself!!!!Ther are also a lot of positive changes i have seen since i stopped taking adderall!!!!!!
  8. hello everyone, I just wanted to let you know I am 17 days adderall free!!! I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would be able to quit adderall. I planned on taking adderall for the rest of my life ( i know unrealistic). The first week eas the worst I ever felt in my life!!! I was physically sick from the withdrawal. I was taking 120 mg a day. I started feeling better on day 7-8. My family was a big part of my recovery. My mom took the week off from work to take care of my daughter. I did not want to expose my 20 month old to the emotional outbursts I was having very frequently!!!! A friend of mine sd something that really mase sense. She sd I was in mourning over losing the adderall and I was grieving it like a death. I almost allowed that evil little orange sometimes pink pill to destroy my family. By the love of my husband he convinced me to stop. For those of you who don't know I threw my pills out of Mother's Day with my husband. I choose Mother's Day so it was significant. On adderall all I wanted to do was clean, organize and rearrange things!!! I spent little time playing with my daughter. I became a liar and a theif on adderall. I loved to go shopping all jacked up on adderall. I was always snappy and irritated on adderall. I even gained weight on adderall . I was alwAYSs chasing that "lots of energy feeling." S INCE I QUIT ADDERALL and got through the withdrawal I feel wonderful!!!!!! Still tired but I motivate MYSELF to keep moving!!! My relationship with my husband has improved a lot for the better. I actually play with my daughter now. I wake up singing and go to bed dancing!!! If I can quit adderall than I can achieve ANYTHING!!! That is my new attitude. I just joined the gym and got a personal trainer. I start therapy tonight. I will keep you posted. Thank you for all of your confidence in me and your support!!!! With Love, FOR MY DAUGHTER
  9. Hello and welcome!!! Today is my 11th day adderall free!!! I was taking 120 mg a day. The first 5 days were the hardest for me. I just cried and slept a lot. I think a lot of the struggle with the withdrawal is mind over matter!! You have to motivate yourself and try to stay as positive as possible. Ask for support and help when needed!!! Reach out to your loved ones. I have a one and a half yr old daughter and she is the most helpful during this process to a healthy life style. I quit my job a month ago to stay home with my daughter so I am fortunate not to have to go to work while I'm in my early stages of recovery. I stopped taking adderall because my husband didn't give me a choice. I'm starting to do the things I use to when I was all jacked up on adderall. I'm still very tired but fight through it every minute of everyday!!!! Fight fight and fight!!!! Your worth it and so are your children!!!! Good luck to you and feel free to reach out any time!!!!!

  14. You guys are the best!!!!! Im on day 6 with no adderall!!! Im on an emotional roller coaster ride. I just randomly cry at any given minute hysterically!!!! My thoughts have been very irrational and i have been extremely depressed. My house is a mess which hasnt been in a yr and a half due to the adderall of course. I loved cleaning on adderall. My house was always spotless and organized. Now i have to get use to the fact that my house is not always going to be perfect because i have a one and a half yr old daughter who loves making messes!! Has anyone gone to a detox or rehab to help with the withdrawal symptoms? Im considering going to a 5 day detox program but really rather do it at the comfort of my own home. Thank you to everyone who took the time to respond to me!!!!!! It is greatly appreciated!!!!
  15. HELLO, I threw my prescription of adderall down the garbage disposal on Sunday (Mother's Day ). I wanted the date to be significant. I am on day 4 without adderall and feel like a walking zombie. All I do is sleep!!!!! i feel extremely sick and have been throwing up everything i eat. I also have been getting really bad headaches. I have been taking 120 mg daily for about a yr and a half. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions??? It would be greatly appreciated!!!!!! Im trying to be strong but at the same time i feel so weak!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!
  16. Im thinking about going to a 5 day detox program. Any advice???
  17. did you pick up your new script? do you need support?
  18. I feel comfortably numb inside just like the Pink Floyd song lyrics. I feel myself losing interest in everything without the adderall. Things that use to be important are no longer. Things that use to be FUN have become a challenging task. From the min I wake up all I can think about is when I'll be able to get back in bed and sleep again. I feel like I don't even have the energy to play with my daughther any more. I feel dead inside. Please help!!!!!!!!! FOR MY DAUGHTER
  19. Another helpful idea is to start a journal. This is where you can write down all of your thoughts and feelings about adderall. I have done this and have found it to be very helpful. I put pictures of my family in it for motivation. Try it and let me know if it helps!! Hang in there. You are stronger than you think!!!!
  20. To LILTEX41, Thank you for giving me the best piece of advice anyone has giving me regards to this topic. That was quitting adderall will be the best gift I can ever give my daughther in her life. I also agree with you that the reason why im quitting adderall or for who is irrelevant to the fact that Iam quitting adderall!!! You have been helpful. Thank You, FOR MY DAUGHTER
  21. im watching adderall take everything in my life that i love away from me!!!! My husband is on the urge of leaving me and about to take my daughter, who i love more than life itself away from me. He has been trying to help me for over a year and my devotion to the pill is out weighing my devotion to him and my daughter. I AM SCARED!!!! I HAVE A WAY OF ALWAYS FUCKING THINGS UP FOR MYSELF!!! Did anyone ever here of going to rehab for adderall addiction? I'm sooooo tired but i cant sleep. Every breath i breathe and every step i take is for my daughter. I love the way adderall makes me feel. i dont feel normal without it. It gives me such an enphoric feeling. It takes the depression away. It gives me so much energy and motivation. It makes everything fun. How am I going to live without adderall? Why do i haveto giver something up that makes me feel so happy and good? Im pist.................
