JF99
311 days off of Adderall.. My depression doesn’t seem to be getting better so I have an appointment with a therapist next week. What medications have you used post Adderall that worked for depression? I’d like to have some sort of plan going in so I don’t ask for Adderall. I tried WellButrin for a month earlier this year and didn’t really like it.
quit-once
Have you tried the supplements, like St Johns Wort, L-Tyrosine, vitamin B-12, vitamin D and fish oils? I used all of these at some point and each one worked in their own way. I don't like drugs or doctors anymore.
SleepyStupid
i've only ever been on 1 other anti-depressant which was Pristiq which was an SNRI (works on seretonin and nor-ep). i had some bad reactions to it - side effects sucked. the only thing that has ever worked for me has been Wellbutrin (what dose were you prescribed?) but ultimately the game of anti-d is to try a few and see what sticks. the thing is, if your depression is in fact still Adderall related, fucking with brain chemicals other than dopamine will probably not help and may make things worse.
Spirit76
Risperdone helped me. I have been on a whole plethora of anti depressants. And this seems to be the only thing that has worked so far.
komgordon
Bromantane will help you. Then NSI 189 helped dissipate my depression and anxiety to a degree. There is always SAM-e
