  1. Hi, knowing that and admitting to it is a strong thing to do. You cant go back in time so try not to dwell on that, addiction just makes you do things. Try to forgive yourself. #staystrongmama

    Addiction

Hi, I've been taking adderall for almost 10yrs. It all started with me taking it recreationally at parties. I just love how it made me feel..so awake and alive but also NUMB. Knowing what adderall felt like I would take it for work or even to do big tasks. I definitely felt an addiction coming but wouldn't allow myself to accept it. I'd spend a good amount of money just so I'm able to have some to take & then I became pregnant. I stopped cold Turkey and I experienced the side effects of the medicine. I was getting nightmares, I was agitated & always tired. After 2 months I started feeling good (besides me being pregnant and hormones are everywhere ). Once I gave birth I was taking adderall again and I lost weight dramatically. My relationship was going downhill & I was hiding my addiction. Here I am today trying to quit and it's not easy but i know I can do it & so can you!
