  1. I did a sleep study in the summer time. They suggested provigil so I tried it. It is not considered to be a stimulant. I tried it after being 4 months adderall free. It had the adverse effects on me. It made me more tired than I already was and extremely nauseous!!! I do not recommend that drug!!!!!!!! It's never to late to get back on track and get off the stimulants. You may want to look into getting your thyroid checked!!! A thyroid disorder will make you extremely tired all the time. Good luck😃😃

  2. I was taking 120mg of adderall a day. I quit on mother's day. I find myself still craving it still all the time. I went on provigil and Wellbutrin but they have no effect on my energy level. I'm having adverse effects from the provigil. Does anyone know anything about provigil?

  3. Hi  Everyone,

I'm  sorry I haven't been around in awhile.  I will be adderall  free for 2 months on July 11(the day after my husband's birthday).  My husband had a huge influence on me about quitting adderall.  I still look for that ephoric feeling and that rush of energy.  I also miss the "I can do anything on adderall feeling." My husband's peace of mind and my daughhter's well being are more important than me getting high!!!! I just miss the motivation i had on it. Today i'm feeling sorry for myself. I'm having a pity party for myself!!!!Ther are also a lot of positive changes i have seen since i stopped taking adderall!!!!!!

  4. Hello and welcome!!! Today is my 11th day adderall free!!! I was taking 120 mg a day. The first 5 days were the hardest for me. I just cried and slept a lot. I think a lot of the struggle with the withdrawal is mind over matter!! You have to motivate yourself and try to stay as positive as possible. Ask for support and help when needed!!! Reach out to your loved ones. I have a one and a half yr old daughter and she is the most helpful during this process to a healthy life style. I quit my job a month ago to stay home with my daughter so I am fortunate not to have to go to work while I'm in my early stages of recovery. I stopped taking adderall because my husband didn't give me a choice. I'm starting to do the things I use to when I was all jacked up on adderall. I'm still very tired but fight through it every minute of everyday!!!! Fight fight and fight!!!! Your worth it and so are your children!!!! Good luck to you and feel free to reach out any time!!!!!

  5. You guys are the best!!!!! Im on day 6 with no adderall!!! Im on an emotional roller coaster ride. I just randomly cry at any given minute hysterically!!!! My thoughts have been very irrational and i have been extremely depressed. My house is a mess which hasnt been in a yr and a half due to the adderall of course. I loved cleaning on adderall. My house was always spotless and organized. Now i have to get use to the fact that my house is not always going to be perfect because i have a one and a half yr old daughter who loves making messes!! Has anyone gone to a detox or rehab to help with the withdrawal symptoms? Im considering going to a 5 day detox program but really rather do it at the comfort of my own home. Thank you to everyone who took the time to respond to me!!!!!! It is greatly appreciated!!!!

  7. I feel comfortably numb inside just like the Pink Floyd song lyrics.  I feel myself losing interest in everything without the adderall.  Things that use to be important are no longer.  Things that use to be FUN  have become a challenging task.  From the min I wake up all I can think about is when I'll be able to get back in bed and sleep again. I feel like I don't even have the energy to play with my daughther any more.  I feel dead inside.  Please help!!!!!!!!!

  8. Another helpful idea is to start a journal. This is where you can write down all of your thoughts and feelings about adderall. I have done this and have found it to be very helpful. I put pictures of my family in it for motivation. Try it and let me know if it helps!! Hang in there. You are stronger than you think!!!!

  9. To LILTEX41,

Thank you for giving me the best piece of advice anyone has giving me regards to this topic. That was quitting adderall will be the best gift I can ever give my daughther in her life. I also agree with you that the reason why im quitting adderall or for who is irrelevant to the fact that Iam quitting adderall!!! You have been helpful. Thank You,

  10.    im watching adderall take everything in my life that i love away from me!!!!  My husband is on the urge of leaving me and about to take my daughter, who i love more than life itself away from me.  He has been trying to help me for over a year and my devotion to the pill is out weighing my devotion  to him and my daughter.  I AM SCARED!!!!  I HAVE A WAY OF ALWAYS FUCKING THINGS UP FOR MYSELF!!!  Did anyone ever here of going to rehab for adderall addiction? I'm sooooo tired but i cant sleep.  Every breath i breathe and every step i take is for my daughter.  I love the way adderall makes me feel.  i dont feel normal without it.  It gives me such an enphoric feeling.  It takes the depression away.  It gives me so much energy and motivation.  It makes everything fun. How am I going to live without adderall? Why do i haveto giver something up that makes me feel so happy and good? Im pist.................
