  1. Holy shit, you guys it has been so long. I apologize for going MIA. I really don't know what happened. I have missed you guys so much and hope everyone is doing well. I was probably too ashamed to come back on. I fell off track for a little, I didn't take Adderall or Vyvanse but a mild stimulate for weight loss. I was in a bad, dark, weak place in my life, where I was very unhappy but it's no fucking excuse. It made me feel like shit and I knew what I was doing was wrong. I stopped taking it shorty after starting. Now I am doing better than ever. Since then, I've gone vegan and my bf of 5 1/2 years and I broke up. I have lost weight the healthy way by eating what's right, not drinking too much, and working out. A lot of shit has happened the past few months but I am in a better place from all of it now and I feel like it was all a blessing in disguise. Although, I haven't been using the site, which is stupid and I should have, I think about you guys all the time and how much you inspire and help me. Every. Single. Day. Sending you all my love. I have nothing but love for each and every one of you. If anyone is on FB and wants to keep better in touch, definitely message me your name so I can friend you. I feel like I've been using FB as my biggest social media communication outlet lately. Thank you again to everyone on this site. I love you all and thank you for helping me more than you'll ever know. I am a better person and stronger because of each and every one of you.
  2. AlwaysAwesome, I love Shakeology and Beachbody. It's not for everyone, some people hate it. My favorite flavor is Vanilla, I mix it with ice, water, a banana and 2 teaspoons of extra protein Almond butter and it is so good! I've been drinking it for about 6 months now. My best friend is a coach and I became a coach just to get the discount for the shakes. It is a little pricey though, that is really the only downfall, in my opinion. I just finished Beachbody "21 day fix" Tuesday and gonna start another round tomorrow! I have lost almost 10lb already! I am really enjoying the meal plan and workouts. Just a 30min workout DVD everyday. Never have I been able to follow any fad diet or anything like that but this is more of a way of life, lifestyle change... you learn to workout, eat clean and correct portion control. Honestly, the 21 day fix is a game changer and I highly recommend it and this program! I have never felt so good and I'm seriously only craving healthy foods now, like salad and carrots! If your really into it, talk to your friend about it and search the internet... read the "21 day fix" reviews and go on YouTube and watch Autumn Calabrese 21 day fix videos. She is the creator of the program, I love her, she is amazing and so inspiring! If you do the "21 day fix" you are added to a FB group with a bunch of other people doing it too and it's super helpful. I'm currently in a group with over 3,000 other people doing it, they all started their 2nd round Monday and I'm starting mine tomorrow. Everyone posts helpful tips and recipes and such! Since doing the workouts, I've never felt so strong and powerful and I honestly seeing my body changing, getting tighter and starting to reshape itself. I'm really enjoying the process!
  3. Slow down. Take a breath. Smell a flower. Drink a cup of yummy coffee. It seems like you just need to chill and relax for a little. Take it one day at a time. That is the only way for me. For everything, for NOT just not-taking-adderall and not drinking but for eating healthy and exercising, my job, my Etsy shop, my relationship, my life… I do it ALL one day at a time. One step at a time. One breath at a time. I take everything one day at a time or I will get too overwhelmed and fail or binge or quit. You have been so strong and come so far, just hang in there. Don't let rash decisions get the best of you or ruin your recovery/healing process and how far you've come. It's easy to say "I just want to start adderall again and everything will go back to how it was before" but no, that's not true. Adderall isn't the answer nor is it a quick fix and it doesn't come for free. It's like selling your soul to the devil. It isn't going to make anything or life better. I want to lose weight and of course, I can just get on Adderall again and lose it fast as shit but I'm not going to do that. I feel too damn good without it and I'm not letting a pill control my life or have that control over me anymore. It isn't going to make all your prayers answered. I agree with all the posts above. Just relax and rest. Take it one day at a time. And sometimes things are a certain way because of how you look at them and your attitude. Try to think and stay positive, have hopeful thoughts of the future, think of exciting events coming up, you're looking forward too. Just try to find the good in life and in your life, it's easy to focus on the shitty. People all the time are too busy thinking about what they want, they miss out on and don't appreciate what they do have. You say your in therapy, have you tried cognitive therapy? I have heard amazing things about it. And a few months ago, I really did sound and feel exactly how you do and your post and I was this close to getting back on Adderall because I was pissed I still haven't lost weight and I'm tired all the time and unorganized and blah and I even just did a sleep study because I really thought something was wrong with me. Now I feel great and have more energy, I've started working out 30min a day and eating clean and I'm losing weight as well! I feel so much better, I have more energy and focus, maybe try working out, if you don't already! Just a suggestion! We are here for you and we hope you pull through, just stay strong!
  4. LovetoHate, we're here! What do you need?!
  5. I want to start incorporating maca powder into my life, I have heard great things about it and it's many health benefits, including energy, concentration and mood balance.
  6. Topofthemorning, it sounds like your doing great! Thanks for sharing everything your taking, I'm really into holistic/natural ways for healing and being healthy and supplements. I take a shit load every day and I drank a Shakeology protein shake everyday too, it's my healthiest meal of the day! I take a Suntheanine L-theanine and 0.3mg plant melatonin (from Whole Foods, the brand name is Herbatonin) and this helps me fall asleep, if I don't take the melatonin, I'll be up all night. Just did a sleep study ya'll, have yet to find out the results!
  7. OH and I was put on anti-depressants twice while on Adderall and never before trying/taking it... I was never depressed before it. I truly blame Adderall, drinking and myself for this.
  8. It made me drink very heavily. To come "down" from it! Horrible. I drank pretty much most days I was on Adderall for the sloppy 7 years I was on it. I am currently not drinking and feeling very good, just dealing with the heavy anxiety I've always had... without any help from anything besides soberness and fitness.
  9. 9 months is amazing, way to go and welcome! Haha ZK - I've read some papers I written on Adderall in college and holy shit, the professor must have thought I was on crack or acid. They make no sense! I sounded like a crazy person.
  10. Thomas, we have all been in your shoes... you have come to the right place!
  11. Hey there and welcome, I have my good days and my bad days too. Just take it one day at a time. Can you do it today? Get through today and then see what tomorrow brings? I always ask myself that. I'm only a year and 2 months clean but what helps me the most is not drinking, working out daily and eating healthy. I am doing this right now and I feel great. Probably the best I have ever felt in my entire life! But time heals most wounds. Just be patience and hang in there! We are here for you if you need anything at all!
  12. What makes you happiest out of all the jobs you've done? What are your interests? Passions? Maybe you can turn those into a career!
  13. Just followed ya'll. I'm @carolineesansonee -> if you guys follow me back, forgive me for all the art/etsy shop spam I post! I'm consistently promoting my shop, it's like free marketing! Hope everyone here is doing good! I have missed everyone!
