AlwaysAwesome
Increased risk of esophageal cancer? Did you read up on this yerba mate? Scary! I think I will stick to my monsters...
Doge
Good to hear about any downsides of something to be well informed. We should take them seriously (like most of us didn't when trying adderall LOL). I couldn't find anything bad about it though. Where did you see this AA? AlwaysAwesome
WebMD under side effects tab. It says it should only be taken for short periods of time. Long term use increases the risk of mouth, esophageal, laryngeal, kidney, bladder, and lung cancer. This risk is especially high for people who smoke or drink alcohol. back2life
That's good to know. Thank you. I'm always amazed at how much research is done on every substance/food other than the pharmaceuticals. In 5 year that I was using/misusing/abusing adderall the most I ever came across is - dehydration, dry mouth, and diarrhea....... And other minor side effects. I am gonna continue with the tea for a little while, it seems to work for me, but I won't make it a long term thing. Thank you for your advice, Xoxo
AlwaysAwesome
I used a caffeine and supplement thing from GNC for a while, but it was giving me headaches. I had to stop using it. It was pretty good for a boost, but it was WAY too much caffeine for long term use.
quit-once
I also used a GNC supplement with tons of caffeine and carnitine called "thermoburst hardcore" when I first quit. It satisfied my need to get stimulated from a pill and helped to ease me away from Adderall for the first few months. I also really liked yerba mate because it is all natural and has lots of anti-oxidant goodies in it, plus caffeine. I didn't like the way it tastes so I never continued using it. Strong coffee and (sugarfree) Redbull are all I need for my daily stimulation. Red Bull Rocks!
AlwaysAwesome
I am a Monster person, but sugar free also. I used the super weight loss fat burner from GNC. I still have some of them, but I can't live with the headaches. Reminded me of the Adderall headaches...
