The weight gain sucks...but it levels off and energy/motivation returns.  Now, we have to relearn how to function like the rest of the world.  Make yourself exercise when you don't want to.  Don't eat everything in sight because food tastes so damn good.  It'll come and the weight will come off, but not without effort.  Damn it...
