  1. It's natural to regret that decision - that's why you have to take such a drastic step, and it's the only way. Good job.
  2. thx MFA, it's goin' okay you know it's more a matter of getting used to not having a magic pill to make even the most mundane tasks fascinating. The benefits outweigh the costs though.
  3. before I go to the trouble of running for that long, how long does the good feeling last?
  4. Thanks - well if you don't count Jan 25 it's been four months - but I feel better overall. The only thing I've taken except vitamins has been Wellbutrin, but it became harder and harder to tolerate and finally three weeks ago I stopped taking that. What I mean is that as my energy levels have started returning the Wellbutrin became too activating and stimulating, so I think it's a good thing I can't handle it anymore. So ya doin' pretty good but you know always one pill away from relapse and I don't want to forget that, so thanks.
  5. it's good to see you're doing well IR
  6. I had stopped taking ritalin November 15, and then on January 25 I relapsed for one day, took 3 x 10 mg and was AMPED. I felt awful. Anyways, I've been clean since. I stopped coming on here because a part of me thinks that by doing so I am thinking about it more then I would (by "it" I mean ritalin) and that maybe it would be better if I didn't think about it so much. I don't believe that that is the case but a part of me thinks that, if that makes any sense. For some reason I just wanted to drop in, so I did.
  7. I'm sorry to interject with this but that quote just made me smile and laugh - in a good way.
  8. Hey Kyle I'm on it, not the SR, but I just take it in the morning. I've had a good experience with it too. I've tried upping the dose, and also taking a second one at lunch as prescribed, but it doesn't add any benefit to me to take more, so I just went back to my low dose, which as I said is extremely beneficial to me. Only side effect I noticed was heart racing a bit, some trouble sleeping and minor appetite suppression.
  9. MFA is right, you know nobody else (or at least 95%) of the rest of your class gets it right away either, don't let your mind trick you
  10. it's on amc don't know if running reruns but Netflix has it streaming
  11. What I did when I was in school for endurance was alternate videos/tv and studying, you know 30 minutes of BB, then study for 30 - that kind of thing. It takes twice as long but it worked for me.
  12. we've got American Horror Story in our instant Queue but I haven't watched any yet, good to know though thanks
  13. Legatus obviously it is different for every person and I know there are others on this forum who apparently have stopped using for extended periods of time while still possessing. I can only speak for myself when I say that especially during the first couple weeks there is no way I would have been able to refrain from using had I had physical access to the drug. I wish you the best, and I hope you prove me wrong. Good luck.
  14. A that moment it will probably be too late
  15. Wellbutrin has helped me a lot especially through the initial withdraws
  16. So if a test result shows positive, what happens?
  17. I like walking dead too IR but there is no comparison - you're in for a real treat with BB - season 2 is really good too but definitely don't stop there. It's better then most movies.
  18. Oh ya being tweaked in those situations is the worst! Especially with crowds of people and unfamiliar territory. Glad you had a good time. I didn't see the infamous Priest/Maiden lineup I think a friend if mine at my youth group saw that though, I was thinking it was like 81 or something.
  19. Thanks Cassie your description matches with my experience thus far, I appreciate your tips. Sky thanks for the link, I might read that. IR, thanks for your support - to answer your question Wellbutrin is a blessing. When in the past I've stopped taking Ritalin two things made it unbearable; never feeling like I work up in the morning, and being intolerant of frustration, which is essentially like being intolerant of most of reality especially at work. Wellbutrin is activating, not in the euphoric sense like Ritalin, but like really good coffee after you've slept good, it just makes me awake, and for some reason (maybe because if the stimulating effect) it makes me more patient and tolerant when facing frustrating situations. I have to be careful of when and how much I take, but it helps a lot. I'm much more outgoing on it, but in a good way not a fake tweaked out way.
