  1. Ya Mad Men SUCKS this season. That whole S&M thing with his neighbor is just awful, I can't hardly watch it without cringing.
  2. I agree with the responsive posts. For me, I never had a problem with alcohal until I was using Ritalin at which time I craved it to come down off the stimulant, and could drink alot more then I could before. Now, as before I took ritalin, if I drink a beer or two I just get sleepy and am done with it. I might have the desire but not the craving, which is very different.
  3. I think it's pretty sick to propose a wager about someone dying. Sorry but she's a human being for crying out loud.
  4. You're enabling your friends and probably engaging in criminal activity by allowing them to use in your house, many states have laws prohibiting that. You still didn't answer the question as to why you would do that, can I come over to your house and blow my brains out in your basement? That way I won't disturb your neighbours.
  5. Why on earth would you allow anyone to use meth or heroin in your house?
  6. When I ran cross country the state champ was on my team and he ritualistically (not intentionally ) blew chips at the end of every race
  7. Wellbutrin had a lot to do with me getting through the first couple months, eventually it became too activating for me but I don't know if I would have stayed off Ritalin without it initially
  8. You are incorrect. According to the Book of Mormen The Lamenites were cursed with dark skin but became what we refer to as the native anericans, not black or African Americans. I believe that The bulk of the BOM concerns events that allegedly took place in North America
  9. That is interesting, after 10 weeks clean I slipped and took ritalin again, and felt like total crap too. It's like I lost the taste for it. I had a similar experience with marijuana when I was younger, when I went from daily use for about 1 year, then cold turkey for 8 months, then when I tried it again I felt only the negative effects of it. I'm grateful that that was the case, as I am with ritalin.
  10. the only brand my Whole Foods has is Lifeshield Mind Force, which includes 500 mg of lion's mane, and a bunch of other stuff. I took 2 of them yesterday and just felt kind of tired though not sleepy. Took 1 today and was able to drink twice as much coffee without getting all anxious, but that's about it so far. I'll give it more time.
  11. That makes a lot of sense to me. I think about the past in terms of "pre Ritalin" and Ritalin eras, and I often struggle to recall what I was thinking and feeling in the pre days. I want to remember so that I have an idea of what is coming, but it's hard.
  12. Inspired by kyle chaos ' recent posting of the manowar video, and now that I'm not using I find myself inclined towards the hard and fast stuff, so the eagles, steely dan and elton John have taken a rest (for now) while the following songs are my top 10: Metallica: Whiplash GBH: Catch 23 Black Sabbath: Neon Knights Slayer: Piece by Piece Exodus: Strike of the Beast Judas Priest: Rapid Fire Exploited: Class War Black Flag: Spray Paint Motörhead: Bomber Scorpions: Blackout
  13. I like the bravo shows too especially the housewives of jersey, New York ect plus million dollar listing. Also like gold rush Alaska and waiting for second part of final season breaking bad
  14. You will probably end up getting more out of it and being more effective then you expect, you're going to do fine
  15. That almost sounds like beer! Kyle_Chaos and Lea can you tell me what brand you got, I don't want to have to shop around on amazon thax
  16. SO3: I've got a question - and I ask this because I read your posts in one sitting and found them very compelling. My question is if I understand your story correctly, you went from abusing the addy (that is taking it more frequently than prescribed) to actually taking it in accordance with the prescription, is this right? It seems the consensus among recovering users is that once they started abusing it, they could never return to non-abusive use of the drug. Please understand I am distringuishing abuse from addiction. Was this hard to do, and the big question for me is why you quit at that point if you had it under control? Thanks
  17. Thanks I really related to that part of your experience. During Ritalin/ focalin binges I would sneak out of bed and stay up all night working on computer music , just totally obsessed with it. Now I have no interest in it whatsoever.
  18. SO3 has your desire to play video games (without adderall or alcohal) returned at all?
  19. I'm sorry but that's comparable to a "former" (ya right) heroin user who was somehow "never addicted," yet did it "on and off" for years, looking down on me for taking a prescription of vicodin after hurting my back.
  20. everything slowed down for me when I quit, work and play. It made me realize that despite how efficient and hard working I thought I was when using that I really didn't get all that much done. I can do more now in the same amount of time, it just isn't interesting or fun so it takes a lot more effort.
