Well, I can't take credit for the "I Pledge" concept and I'm more of a big picture kind of guy but I'll try to offer some sort of response. First, let me say that you guys are awesome for taking my random mutterings and running with them! Second, I was thinking that having multiple threads will divide the community and not bring it together (but I can see how a certain amount of segregation could help maintain order). I've been mulling this over for a couple of days and the main components that I would like to see are: Provide a way for self improvement / empowerment that is accessible to any member of our community no matter what stage of recovery they are at must be a challenge make the world a better place allow for honesty and transparency engage the community for support of those who decide to take up the challenge OK, maybe I'm completely crass but what do you expect from someone who just spent 4 hours in the woods while it was -17 degrees? Take care of yourself everyone.

Another day on the books. When life gives you lemons make Gatorade. Keep grinding through it and things will get better. This victory will be yours! -
Now that is butt cold!

Must be, I didn't even consider that it was a regional thing.

I find that sleep is such an issue in regards to my mental well being. If I don't get enough sleep (I shoot for 9 hours), I get depressed and start with the bad thoughts. I hope that you can find a solution to your sleep issues so you can get on with your life. I'll be praying for you.

Top Gun baby! (too many movie references this week?) - I just keep thinking of the point where Tom Cruise is demonstrating how he took a picture of the Mig to his lady instructor friend and it makes me smile. One last thing, it's butt cold here this morning.

" THE 30 DAY CHALLENGE RELOADED" WELCOME ALL!

Good job on day 11, things will ebb and flow between crazy and lazy; it's bound to happen. We are here for you when you need us. -
My first thought is that I hope you have this written down somewhere as it will be a good reminder of why you quit when things get difficult. Congratulations on your decision to quit and give the world the true, unmedicated, unadulturated, unfettered, beautiful version of yourself! The desire to use will diminish over time but I can't say if it will ever go away. Your brain will start to lie to you at some point and romanticize what life was like while you were taking adderall; choose now to not believe the lies. My final piece of advice is to join the 30 day challenge (maybe you have already, I just haven't made it over to that thread yet this morning). Seek Tranquility...

I would advise against taking it because you might not stop. Will you fall back on adderall everytime life gets challenging? That's no way to live. I understand that you feel unmotivated and sluggish; we all are learning to put our lives back together again without adderall. You will feel a greater sense of accomplishment if you figure out a way to make things work without the chemical crutch.

I believe it is required to record a video and post it on youtube as proof of your ninja bull dancing skills when you perform such a maneuver.

Is that why your avatar disappeared?

Awesome, the spammers are now talking to each other! That is pretty funny stuff.

Now you tell me, I had already given them my credit card information, bank account numbers, social security number, and deposited their $10,000 cashier's check and wired them $8,500 in return. DOH!!!

It's not that I don't find aluminum casting and die casting extermely interesting, I just don't think that this is the website to discuss them. What's the deal with all the spammers this morning?

Doing the bull dance, feeling the flow!

That's awesome!
